Sam Merrill
(She/Her/Hers)
MA, APC
Samantha brings with her over a decade of experience working to support women and families. “My own personal experience as a mother, wife, sister, and daughter drives my passion to support others in their own walks of life, from the teen years through trying to build and maintain a family. I also hold a special place for those navigating trauma or grief/loss. I desire for therapy to be a space where you are seen, heard, and understood.”
Samantha believes in the power of a strong therapeutic connection and works to build trust and extend curiosity about the ways you have learned to show up in your mind, body, and relationships. Working from a trauma-informed approach to build safety and stability from the start, Samantha utilizes the mind-body connection to teach skills for coping with the present and building strength for the deeper healing work ahead. Also using narrative and parts-work techniques, exploration of past stories and relationships expands clarity about how to move forward.
Approach: Sam practices from a relational and trauma-informed approach, incorporating EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and an attachment-based and narrative approach.
Sam is trained in Prepare-Enrich for pre-marriage counseling, perinatal mental health, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR.

Mrs. Brenley Wiley
(She/Her/Hers)
MA, AMFT
“It is a privilege every time I get the opportunity to sit across from a client and hear their story. It’s an honor to hold it with them and for them. Therapy is so transformative when individuals are given the space to explore and process what they’re going through. Getting a front row seat to people’s healing is beautiful. Being able to sit across from an individual and say ‘you are seen and you are heard’ is incredibly powerful. It truly changes people’s lives.”
Brenley brings compassion and warmth into the therapy space and has a passion for helping clients embrace their own unique stories. She believes in providing a safe place for clients to be seen, heard and understood. She utilities a variety of treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Theory. She believes in helping clients connect their thoughts and feelings in order to gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. She takes a holistic approach to client care and likes to collaborate with other members of a client’s care team.
Brenley is a Georgia native and received her Master of Family Therapy from Mercer School of Medicine and her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Public Policy from Mercer University. While she obtained her graduate degree she gained valuable clinical experience working with patients in an outpatient medical setting. She also obtained clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of concerns at the Mercer Family Therapy Center. She has spent time providing therapy to families in the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services and has also worked in a ministry setting caring for college students.
Outside of the therapy room, Brenley loves to read, try new foods and play with her cat. She is scuba certified and loves any chance she gets to be on the water.
